Are you joking?  Where is your reference for that requirement?

Guns must be transported unloaded, in rigid lockable receptacles or commercial gun containers that completely enclose the firearm (a commercially produced gun sock meets the criteria).

My reference was the bruddah from behind the counter at J. Hara store.

when we got our ffl atf told us that all firearms coming into the store and going out of the store needs to be in a hard case with a lock.  soft case with a trigger lock wont work either.  its because the school is right across the street from us.  so we fall into that "gun free school zone"
