In my opinion, a woman speaking for gun rights has twice (or more) the weight of a man speaking for gun rights.  Someone as well spoken as her, maybe 10x.

it was great, but it could be improved if it didn't seem so "scripted" and be a bit more passionate and  heartfelt

The main point of the video is, whether LEOs have ever asked themselves where they would draw the line when obeying political leaders.  That's it.  And it has been proven many times throughout history.

This is a serious question all military and law enforcement are supposed to ask themselves in training classes.  If given an unlawful or immoral order, what would you do?  It's not dumb.  It's reality.  Every war we've been in is full of stories like this.  A soldier is ordered to fire on civilians.  Another is ordered to kill, torture, or inflict other types of pain or injury on a prisoner. 

Hopefully none of us will ever face this scenario.  The entire point is: 

WHAT IF YOU ARE FACED WITH THIS CHOICE?  Would you follow orders, or would you refuse?

The difference between her examples and us now is that in the past the examples (nazi's, redcoats etc...) were following the direction of a dictator.  And we are currently governed by a..... Oh wait um nevermind.

Thats not true. The military is directed to cut everything. Enlisted and officers are affected. If soldiers can't pass PT, make weight, have bad character and/or don't have the required schooling then they get the boot. Bottom line: the military can't afford to keep that many personnel or buy equipment. Simple.

... a worrisomely large number of senior officers have been investigated and even fired for poor judgment, malfeasance and sexual improprieties or sexual violence — and that is just in the last year.

Some are suspicious the NSA is using their sophisticated network of spy technologies to eavesdrop and gather evidence on the military leaders.  What better way to control the military and force its leadership to make distasteful decisions than holding their careers and reputations hostage?
