Okay I am gonna call BS on the 170,000 tons of gold. That would be 340,000 pounds of gold a standard gold bar weights 27.431 pounds, so that's 12,394 bars. The Gold Depository at Ft. Knox is reported to have 5,046.3 tons of gold there. The US supposedly has 8,133.5 tonnes total, it is doubtful that BoH has 171,000 tons in its vaults.
