I think a lot of us had that "What was I thinking" buy....Mine was the Mossberg 500 Roadblocker shotgun... Don't get wrong, it's a cool shotgun but I bought it for an expensive price cause I "Had To Have It".. IMPULSE! FYI: Might be on the classifieds soon.. So what would yours be?

I've shot trap with it twice but the damn ammo costs $11 bucks a box.

I still think its a beautiful shotgun and incredibly well made but it was $1000 that I could have spent on something more practical or fun.

IMI Desert Eagle in  .44mag which I then converted to .50AE...........

I bought a well used (worn) High Standard .22 Victor Target Pistol at a gun show 25 years ago. I thought, even at this price if I take it to a gunsmith to get it repaired it would be worth it. I put about 20 rounds through it before the extractor flew out of the slide. I took it to the gunsmith and he told me it was a parts gun. It had been cobbled together by a bunch of parts from different guns. It was a POS. Obviously I didn't know what I was doing. I bought it for $225 and got $100 for it as a parts gun. If I had done my research I would have seen by the serial numbers and markings there was something wrong with the gun in the first place.

It already has a pan and tilt camera on it.

I've done that a lot.  Did it with a USP Match and have successfully fought off buying a H&K Mk23.
