Need recommendations on a 1911 holster

Looking into a 1911 holster for combat/defensive pistol training use.

Any recommendations?  Price not that important but don't want to break the bank.

Mahalo for any advice...

Not just for 1911's, but Blade-tech makes great holster at pretty good prices.  I have several and love them.

I am curious what would be the purpose of the holster?  Combat i.e. Iraq/A-stan or defensive such as concealed carry?  In Iraq I carried on my plate carrier in a Serpa (yes I know there were some issues but wasn't planning on putting the holster in upside down) as well as on a belt holster.  When I did carry CCW I carried Kramer horsehide and Blade-Tech Belt and IWB.

Chris,

Looking to carry on my belt for combat/defensive tac training.  Mostly cqb so must be secure yet easy to draw.  My overseas days are over but I remember vest carry with 6+ 308 mags...way heavy.  Thanks for the advice, how you like your IWB?
