Anywhere to buy single roll pins locally?
« on: February 23, 2014, 11:36:00 PM »
bolt catch roll pin broke during install, it's like halfway in. it's engaging the catch but i definitely want to replace it, it has super sharp edges where it broke. anyone have any experience with this? maybe i can cut it down and just complete the install? the pin split about 2mm from the end. where can i buy just the bolt catch roll pin locally? hardware store?

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

All City Mills should have a section with bins of hardware bolts, nuts and pins.

X-Ring might be out of your way but it is well worth the drive, they are a good bunch of folks out there.

bought 5 pins from city mill today. they were labeled 'tension pins' not roll pins. they only had 1/2" x 3/32" which is actually about 0.04" too long, but at .17 cents a pin it's totally worth.
