Puuloa Highpower Rifle is set for next Sunday.  Make sure to register at www.puuloa.com if you are attending or need a sponsor (if a civilian non-club member).

The pistol shoot went great yesterday with a dozen shooters shooting a mix of bullseye and combat shooting from the holster on silhouettes.  Daryl gave a short class on shooting techniques, which solved my tendency to shoot to the left.  Worked on accuracy drills.  Was a good cool day in Ewa.  Round count was around 175.

Rifle range is a GO for tomorrow, shooting at the 200/300/600 yard lines.

For ammunition for 5.56 rifles, I suggest getting at least the 62 grain stuff to better hit the 600 yard targets.  Some mail order places to purchase is...
The CMP at www.odcmp.org for those qualified to purchase...about 54 cents a round shipped.
Heard good reviews for Romanian M855 equivelant ammo for 45 to 54 cents a round shipped at www.buygunsandammo.com.  Haven't tried it myself.

Of course match ammo is preferred but more expensive.
