Kickass!
The difference between theory and reality is that, in theory, there is no difference between theory and reality.

I cheered out loud when I read that in the paper this morning.

I am new in Hawaii, how is he good for us.  Does he support 2A and our right to defend ourselves?  Is he going to approve more than just 1 concealed carry application?  Any information on this would be great.

I think it is not so much that he is good for us, it's that he was the least anti-2A pick of the bunch.

My guess is that he won't approve any CC apps to keep his liability low. The 2A changes will have to come with changes to state and/or federal law. Which reminds me, the 2010 Hawaii legislative session should be starting next month.

There is another way, it's called jury nullification.
