Tactical clothing shop on Oahu
« on: May 06, 2014, 09:56:01 AM »
I tend to order most of my 5.11 pants and such via mail order. But, I also like to shop locally when I can, but it seems the availability of these products are quite limited. Any suggestions for where to shop for these things on Oahu

used to have a 5.11 shop in front of ala moana on kona street
next to ailana shave ice
not there any more
shop that was in windward city closed too

mojo tactical has some stuff, but no 5.11 that i recall
i guess you could ask HPD/SWAT where they source stuff

Clearwater? Tactical?  It's behind ala moana.  Take a look at the vertyx stuff, it's good too.  No problems with it so far, and I tend to abuse my pants etc.   Dave at Mojo can order stuff;  Dan Goo is also a 5.11 authorized dealer.

I know dealing local is helpful but there is not much selection and you are better off ordering online.  Keep an eye out for LA Police gear online as they always run 5.11 specials.

HPD and / or SWAT does not use 5.11 as a standard issue.  They do currently source from local vendors / distributors.

Online QuarterMaster.  Most of time, they have close out discount on 5.11 and free shipping I believe you have to spend over $100.

Camouflage Shop Inc. in Wahiawa has from time to time.
Limited sizes and colors when they come in.

A handful of guys I work with get their clothing, 5.11 and other brands, from www.dvor.com .  I haven't ordered clothes but have ordered a bag and some books.

Thanks for the info...I tend to order stuff online, but was curious if any shops had stuff locally.

I haven't tried the Vertex pants, but have seen them. I currently tend to wear the Blackhawk Warrior Wear stuff as I like the back pocket and "keepers" in the cargo pockets....

I just bought some 5.11 pants from a store on Kona st right along side ala moana.  Couldve sworn it was an all 5.11 Tactical store. This was a few months ago.  Did they close down already?

Was a decent deal, price was similar to online and they had decent selection

oh
it's still there?
next to ailana shave ice?
it's like a 5.11 store
same as online, but you don't have to pay shipping
sorry guys, i thought it was gone last time i went to ailana

edited to add:
like prices on the 5.11 website
not sale prices like on some other sites
