Not sure what you mean by "Hawaii Friendly."   Can you elaborate?

Next TIme I'm in Vegas I won't waste my time running to all the shops up there.  Although there are some cool shops, the prices here are as good or better(mostly better).  The ammo supply here is also WAY better.  According to someone I spoke to up there, people from CA drive over to NV and wipe out the ammo.  I didn't care for "The Gun Shop" since I caught an attitude from them and they wouldn't sell me High cap mags even though they were legal for me to have in Hawaii(Rifle).  On the other hand I liked Discount Firearms and Ammo where they sold me whatever I wanted.

For most of the stores you can purchase long guns no problem. Handguns have to be transferred through an FFL.

Just got back several weeks ago. Went to most
Of the shops in vegas.  Survivorman was right about the prices. I did buy 2 pistols that i couldn't find here and had them sent to OGC.

Been to most of them, pretty recently as well.

My experience mirrors the rest, similar prices for firearms, higher prices (in most cases) on ammo.   Especially with the 8% sales tax!   But who can resist checking out the shops, I sure couldn't, so go for it & have fun

Here are a few not mentioned that I really enjoyed:
Peacemaker Guns... Lots of AK's and very cool owners
American Shooter... More mainstream but lots of firearms to check out
Ammo Garage... Really nice collection of firearms, lots of blue label stuff for LEO's & Mil folks (including FNH)
Range 702... Fun to checkout, but same same as the other "Tourist" venues
Sportsmen Warehouse... Lots of stuff but no sales to out of state (regardless of FFL). Company policy apparently.

HTH, have a great trip  :shaka:

Howzit macsak,

Yep, pretty much. Maybe a slightly better selection than others in the chain... It's located well N. of the strip on I95, think it's in the centennial center. Oh and I forgot to mention New Frontier Armory.   So when you're done at Sportsman, jump on the 215 & head East, New Frontier is not too far down the road, 15-20 min maybe.

You guys should check out the "Zombie Apocalypse Store". Cheap ammo and you can do missions on Friday's but using only paintball guns.
