Nearly 70% at this point in favor of stricter gun control laws. It will a harsh reality when/if gun control gets to the point that honest, law abiding citizens are disallowed ownership of firearms. It blows my mind that liberals miss the notion that criminals or those with bad intentions DO NOT acquire firearms under the same guidelines as the rest of the legal, law abiding gun owning population. Nor do they have the same desire to use those firearms as law abiding gun owners intend too.

Mostly anomalies these psychotic killers are, but they are becoming more and more prolific. Gun control WILL NOT change this shift in psychotic outbursts with devastating outcomes. There is so much more to be considered than a 'shoot from the hip' decision to ban firearms. The Isle Vista shooting, frankly, shows some major flaws in the gun control laws already in place.

What a fantasy land these people live in :shake:

I just did to glockforum.net and will continue to with other forums I attend. The poll has gotten closer to an even split by the way.

51-49% now.

The word is getting out.  Look for them to close it down before it tips away from the result they want.

These are the same people that claim they have "scientific" polls or research demonstrating "90% of Americans, including gun owners and NRA members, support "universal background checks"", and "40% of all gun sales happen without a  background check" and "A gun in the home is 43 TIMES more likely to be used against someone in the home than against a criminal [who doesn't live there or isn't invited in as a guest] attack".

They claim that any evidence that doesn't support their a priori emotionally-based ideological conclusions is the biased result of "gun industry lobbyists". They wouldn't know science if it bit them in the ass.  :geekdanc: And they don't care. Because they're "right", and if you're "right" it's okay to lie. [See White House: Benghazi, Fast and Furious, IRS auditing, NSA "data collection", "you can keep your doctor", etc., etc., etc.]

No one is coming, it’s up to us.

Legislation should never be about depriving law abiding citizens of something, but rather taking those things away from criminals.
