$1,500 - Benelli m4 (eh, your gonna need 100-200 more bucks for this but its close enough; lets pretend its on sale)

$2,000 - HK Mark23 on the mainland with 2 or 3 new 10 round mags and shipped to Hawaii or IWI TAVOR or a FN FS2000 Tactical

$2,500 - HK Mark23 in Hawaii (might actually have to spend 3k for this one here depending on who is ripping you off) or Scar17S or possibly a Salient Arms Glock 20 (I mean if you gotta blow $2.5k, why not do it on an over priced Glock which still has a 4.5lb trigger pull with tons of pretravel...?)

$3,000 - nothing really in this price range I can think of I would want, everything seems to jump to about 5k and for that amount I'd look at the DRD Paratus or the Nemo Omen (both just for shits and giggles;  seriously, where could you possibly use either realistically?).

I just have a hard time paying $$$$ for a single firearm.

Would rather have a set for me and my buddies.

The PS90 is a easy shooting gun. Pretty much no recoil,  easy to maneuver, and very compact .

Problem with that gun is the ammo. It's very hard to find so you may only be able to shoot it once a year. Still I want it.

Actually I have seen it around quite a bit, in fact there were times when I saw the 5.7 on shelves and no 5.56 or .223 in the same store.

i dunno about the rest, but 3000 if it was my budget (which is different from just having the liquid cash available, imo) i'd buy a real nice M1a/M14.  the rest, i have no idea.  i guess for 1500, i'd by a Sig 556, cause that's what i bought for 1200.

Buy 1 gun, invest the difference

Yup!  Ayan doesn't currently have the MAMS in stock so he'll hold onto rifle until he can pin/weld it then ship to me.  I've been wanting that 14.5 dipple+MAMS for a loooooong time.
