Vintage Remington ammo is it worth anything or just worth sending downrange????? (Read 2090 times)

I've recently come into posession of several boxes of vintage remington ammo.  Its labeled as "45 Automatic Targetmaster 185 grain wadcutter."  From the small ammount of research I have been able to do, it appears that the ammo is from 1962-1963.  I do not see any signs of corrosion, no water damage, so It would appear the ammo should be ok to fire.  However, if there is a collector market for vintage remington ammo, I would much rather dispose of it there.  Any info would be greatly appreciated

Shoot it up if you got a 45 that will eat it. Not every 45 will feed wadcutter ammo. Expect a bad primer or two.

If it were military ammo from the big wars it may be worth something.

Thanks Teichi.  I did a google search, just trying to figure out when it was made, and all these "vintage ammo" collector and auction sites start popping up.  So I go from trying to figure out manufacture dates, to looking at auctions where people were trying to sell empty boxes of old ammunition.  I started to wonder if I had something more here, then just range ammo.
