Red dot sights... Burris FF2 vs Trijicon RMR vs Leupold Deltapoint (Read 8451 times)

I have mounted the Burris Fastfire 2 on a Remington 870 a Remington 11-87 and my new tactical Glock 22.

I've been considering buying a FNP-45 tactical and it comes with an integrated red dot mount with different mounting plates for popular red dot sights.

Because of this I've been looking at different red dots.

Two of the ones I am interested in are the Trijicon RMR and the Leupold Deltapoint.

Both of these cost more than the Fastfire and I was wondering if anyone has used either or both of these.

If so what makes it worth $400 or $600 as opposed to the $200 that the Burris costs?

I have no complaints about the Burris Fastfire as it has served me well with no problems whatsoever.

Can anyone give me any firsthand knowledge on these?

They are both more durable then the fastfire. The leupold has a larger screen then all of them, and a good warranty. Personally, I'd go with the tritium fiber rmr. Heavily reenforced, no batteries, etc. Built like a tank.

I have used Burris Fastfires on two shotguns I have and have had no problems whatsoever in over five and three years.

Everybody talks about durability but for me the Fastfires are great.

The Delta Point piqued my interest because of the larger screen but that RMR just looks rock solid.
I've heard from a couple of people that the RMR has too small of a screen and is hard to "get on" during rapid fire.

If I could get a RMR for 400 bucks or less I'd probably get it but at over 600 a pop, I don't know if I can bring myself to do it unless i knew it was hands down the best red dot in existence.

Has any one here used the RMR or Delta Point?
