Although I'm not really into knives I found the reviews informative and well put together.  What is the purpose of a kukuri knife? They do look mean and I would want to carry one around in an apocalyptic world like I Am Eli but I don't know what I would do with one now. Does the shape make them cut better?

I really like the 13 scourge. Awesome I would buy that one for sure. I don't like the upper sharp edge.

Hey all thats for sure!

Hell of a chopping blade.  All that weight behind the belly of the blade adds to its chopping power.  Its kinda of a multi tool.  The recurve section can be used for bush crafting items such as fire sticks.  The belly can be used for clearing branches and brush or to chop down trees like a hatchet.  But where the blade excels is how the Gurkahs from Nepal use them.  These are crazy fierce soldiers from Nepal known for their high altitude conditioning.  There are also many videos on youtube of ceremonial kukuris chopping off cow heads in one crack.  There are alos many written accounts of WWII soldiers running from the Gurkhas because they knew that when those blades camo out they dont go back in without blood on them.

here is a link to my first vid there are some good links in the video.

again guys thanks for the look and stand by for the performance videos

Is there a difference between a kukri and kukuri?

Cold steel makes a pretty decent kukri machete for clearing brush and stuff at a reasonable price on Amazon.  Just make sure you get a lanyard because the weight of the blade is way forward which makes it easier to slip out of your hands.

Very cool.  The guy who actually designed the scourge is on another forum I'm on, I followed his design process and testing phase, and it is definitely a favorite of mine.

Nice reviews, a bit long, but good job overall.  As someone who was an old school youtuber with a lot of video's, length is a big one.  For "review" type video's it is good to keep them less lengthy.  Take a look at your channels analytics and that will show where viewership drops off.

Also, what was your shipping costs?  I attempted a single purchase on the website and I had the up tax for usage and then the shipping was around $35 for a single scourge.

Ya that's about right I bought a bunch to test at one time to make it worth the shipping.  came out to $65 for four Kukuris.
