make sure your gas plug is tight, don't ride the bolt home, and shoot garand safe 30-06.  should work fine. 

Rifle side full and silhouette side looks pretty much full. Bullseye handgun range less than half filled.

I think I shot one of your friend’s (that had the scopes to check out) rifles before. It was maybe my second or third trip to the range when I just started shooing ARs, so still quite new to Koko Head. He had a nice 22-250 with this nice trigger but had some unusual aspect about it. I think you had to click the trigger forward first. That and he had a nice Zeiss scope. Anyways, that got me headed down the road to get my own bolt gun. He was also interested in ARs, so he shot my AR as well. Somehow I always remembered that.

That's what I love about shooting with all these old guys. They are very approachable and they will encourage you to shoot what they brought. I always learn something from them. What did you think of the hand cannon?

There were some interesting guns being shot today for sure! That had cannon was awesome! Peaked the interest of the pyro in me.

Speaking of cannons, I'll be trying out some 44mag this Wednesday.

Witnessed some 45-70 lever action on steel. Made me wonder what the 45-120 is like.
