How to unholster a CCW gun at the bullseye pistol range:

At the firing line:
1.  Admin remove the magazine from the gun while in the holster (to avoid having more than 5 rounds in the gun when unholstered)
2.  Remove holster from your belt (with gun still inside)
3.  point gun/holster downrange and remove gun from holster without muzzling support hand.  I grab the holster bellow the trigger guard and ease it off the gun.  As I remove it, I rotate the holster down (pointing to the ground or perpendicular to the gun barrel) while keeping the gun pointed downrange.  This prevents the support hand getting infront of the gun muzzle.
4.  Unload & clear, lock slide back, and verify clear.

I don't know what they're doing exactly, so don't ask me.

Looks like they need to do more renovation to the structure and shooting bays???  They also need targets.  I herd they can’t use the old ones they have.

I'm happily burning through those bullets I bought from you. Weekdays are great. I shoot pistol almost every Friday (now that I'm retired)

 

Actually I went yesterday and tested these very lightweight semiwadcutters. They're 45acp 160 grain. Powder charge was very old Hercules Bullseye powder. I  was curious to see how fast I could get them to go.

I miss going during the weekdays.   My wife and I watch our grandson (9months) and our great-grandson (17months) during the weekdays now.  Full time babysitters.  I love it but still miss going to the range.

I know from feedback that on weekends the rifle and pistol sides are not as busy after 2pm.  Is this still the case?

Haven't gone for so long I'm kinda shame I won't even hit the target frame let alone the target itself.

Went at 9ish today and had maybe 3-4 open seats.  At least one open all the way to 1130.  No shame, no one cares. Send it

I see recent renovations to the building but I suspect the club has organizational problems.
