I don't get how someone shoots themselves while cleaning a gun. First step is to always clear the gun. It's sort of like jumping out of a plane before putting on your parachute.

I'm surprised the docs didn't dig out all the shrapnel and clean that wound in his leg.

Sooner or later complacency = accident/s.  Reminds me of one particular quote my dad kept repeating while I was growing up, "Pain is the best teacher in life.".  Then over the years I figured out "pain" could be from physical, emotional and financial.  I bet from this point on Joe Riggs will safety check his firearms multiple times prior to doing anything.

at first glance, just after i woke up, i thought it said "joe rogan"
