Yep its quiet, its .25 cal and fired on its lower settings (i usualy go around a 5) is almost silent, i would say about as loud as opening a can of soda.  its not a crack but more a pfft. even on its higher settings i wouldent say its much louder

i sold me .25 marauder a couple months ago. It was just WAAAY too overkill for rats.  It was also big, heavy, and louder than my .22. 

My new .22 marmot militia hammer forged barrel arrives tomorrow. Crosman didn't give me a tracking number or even a shipping confirmation for the shroud so I'm just hoping it arrives quickly.

My whole barrel is a suppressor and with the adjustable valve i can set the power for range and prey, Kind of pricey tho

Woot! My new barrel and shroud arrived about 12 hours ago.
Did a quick cleaning on the barrel, sighted it in, and did a 5 shot group at 10 yards.

Yep, that's pretty much 5 pellets on top of each other.

However, shooting paper isn't what I spent my money for.

Got 10! I even took video.  Even better I cut out the dead time and posted the video to youtube!

The first and last rat I shot weren't on the video.

Sparse on updates because i hadn't seen any rats by my house in a while ( i think they were poisoned again)and i haven't gone hunting by the bus stop since my last video.   I did finally see one by my house tonight and got 'em though!

This also means i will have a clear line of sight all the way to the bridge by the bus stop.  I may have to turn up the power on my rifle so i can start making 70 yards shots. They are often at the water line by that bridge.

I shot at a basketball down by the bridge from my porch and hit it first shot so i know i have the range without turning up the power (about 70 yards).   I'll have to go for a can in the daytime to see if i have the accuracy since a rat is a bit smaller than that.

There are way fewer rats right now.  Even by the bus stop i didn't see any large ones although i saw about 8 babies going into the lava rock wall assured the stream there. Im seeing some of those rat poison bait boxes around.

Sadly even with the brush gone i can't see the bank where they hang out from my patio because a section of the fence is pushed out towards the stream blocking my view.
