Its OK, he's not black; he doesn' t know whats it like growing up as a black man. White people dont eat at Waffle House. Thats why we got Chilis.

I don't understand the part about the constant reminding that he's a vet. Just trying to stir up more emotions about the story. It's not like he was there in uniform. They also probably didn't beat him because he's a vet which is to me what the title suggests

Hate crime statutes are bullshit anyway. Never understood why it is worse if someone is [insert criminal act] for a reason on some list.
