WTF is dynamic pie?

I have heard of "slicing the pie" but, does this new kind of pie move around or what?!

They teach high speed low drag real life scenario tactical training.

...damn wish I could hit a 500 yard target like that.

The install vids on YouTube are usually the more helpful ones.

Yeah.  I say go for it!

I wasn't trying to talk anyone out of doing a video or saying that they have to be an expert to do one.  The internet is full of TONS of useful information and it is (or has become) that way because of people like you who see a need and are willing to take the time to put something together!

I over heard a guy at the range tell his friend the reason for full float so the barrel is floating in the handguard and the bullet has less stress going don the barrel......HUH?

What?  So are you saying that it is not true?  Doesn't the bullet go faster if the barrel is free floated?  ::)

talk about barrels just saw a video on the noveske infidel and after they shot 130 rounds through it the handgard heated up and they tried to play it off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Riqadx8J08. the handrail was soo close to the barrel you can feel the heat I think its a manufacture mistake. one would have to think you go in shtf would you use this gun or drop over 2 grand to buy a gun that heats up that fast.

That's not an infidel, it's not even a Noveske barrel, only the NSR is Noveske.  Would a Noveske barrel make a difference?  Probably not although I think they use a different steel.  I'd be curious to see how it compares to other KeyMod rails, seems like they would all heat up the same amount.

I find it especially ironic that you posted this here given the host's recent troubles with establishing his credentials...http://ingunowners.com/forums/tactics-training/355233-cory-jackson-cory-erika-fame-possible-fraud.html

I have this rail on my 300 BLK that I just finished.
It's only got 100 rounds through it and I could probably stand to "break in" the barrel a little more {Rainier Arms}.
If anyone is willing to pony up 150 to 200 rounds of ammo we could test it at the next HDF class.

I have 3 of the newer minimalist, lightweight, Keymod rails, a Noveske NSR, BCM KMR and an SLR Rifleworks Solo Ultra Lite.  If you shoot them as per the rules at the benches at KKHD then you will not have to much to worry about when it comes to heat.  However do a couple of very fast back to back mag dumps and all 3 will be very hot.  3 to 4 mag dumps back to back and any of the 3 will be too hot to want to handle them.  I will note that Cory had rail covers on the bottom and a switch on the top so that makes a world of difference.  I have heated up rails with covers to the smoking point and I have to say that it is my opinion that they were disingenuous in the video about how hot the rail actually got.  I often jest with some of the guys behind the keymod minimalist rails, that they have also greatly increased sales for the companies selling tac gloves.   :)
