I emailed my representative a few weeks ago basically inquiring as to the status of future funding/improvements to KHSC.

Thought I'd just post the response, for what it's worth.

Perhaps I'm just optimistic, but I do find the assurance that they will "continue to maintain KHSC" as positive along with the admission that it is "well used", though of course it's clear that money is not raining from the skies..

Recommend everyone contact their representative and urge their support. Can't hurt.

I did a quick search and found this. Not sure if KHSC qualifies but it's worth a try if someone has the time to research.
