Phone or Tapatalk problems
« on: October 07, 2014, 03:47:59 PM »
Got a old Samsung GII phone.
On T-Mobile, since joining and loading Tapatalk app phone seems to do weird things. Don't use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connections.
On TM family plan both wife and daughters phones died.
Use Lookout to scan for virus and spyware. None found. Seems at times phone is being accessed by another party, can't type or do anything, screen moves up or down. Or super slow response. At times auto talk feature turns on. Battery gets really hot.
Checked memory and storage all good. Task manager list only tapatalk and Web is active.
Know our site is monitored.
Any other members experienced similar events?
Hate to have to buy a new phone?
With some of the cats on the forum including myself wonder if there's some spyware lookout ain't detecting. Got nothing to hide, otherthan being a extreme gun enthusiast. Lol
Hope it's just problems with Tapatalk.
Mahalo!

Install greenify and see if anything is running in the background or has a lot of wakelocks. App should be able to hibernate any rogue apps.

I should mention, don't hibernate anything you want push notifications from as it will get disabled.

I never use it. Lots of bad reviews and allegations of spyware and opening backdoors that can be exploited by malicious software.

Most of the pictures do not load on the new Tapatalk app. This new app sucks.
