Rip good idea or bad???
« on: November 11, 2014, 03:24:35 PM »
I'm sure all of your are familiar or at least have heard of the "new" R.I.P. Ammunition.  Although the the idea is solid, and the R&D definitely shows through in the tests that I have seen, my question is, would this be a legitimate round to use in a edc/ccw application? Home defense? Also, are there any public court cases dealing with the use of this round.  My main concern is that the round would be seen as over aggressive or barbaric and would be a field day for a prosecutor.  Any thoughts ideas or opinions are welcome.

In my non-professional opinion, there is better ammo out there that wouldn't have the same shock effect in court that the G2 RIP ammo does.

I am not a lawyer.
