what kine grips are those white ones?

what is the diff between the cz 75 D compact and a p-01? both are compact, have rail, and decocker correct?

The grips are VZ Diamondbacks in Desert Sand.  These guys are real aggressive, NO SLIP!  haha  I might take some sandpaper to them if they don't break in a little smoother soon. 

The "75D Compact" and the "P-01" are one and the same.  I think the "75D Compact" is the Euro version, while the "P-01" is the American version.  I think that with the huge demand for the P-01 they sent over some 75D Compact labeled pistols to CZ USA / CZ Custom, where they smoothed and formed the "Protek II" out of this fine example.  Something like that.... That's my story, and I'm sticking too it...  Hehe.

No, the hammer is from CZ custom.  The Protek II is their worked over version of the P-01/Compact.   CZ custom takes a stock P-01/Compact dehorns the whole thing, lightens and machines the slide, replaces all springs, does trigger work and hammer, and other goodies.

My brother has a CZ 455 with the thumbhole stock .22LR...  It is a TACK DRIVER, real nice looker too.  Trigger is a little stiff and heavy, but a tack driver.  I'll have to look for pics, if I have any....

Beautiful!!!   CGW makes some great stuff!   How is the trigger on it?  Can I meet up with you at the range, one of these days, to compare the trigger on your Copperhead and my Protek?
