Do you need to inform the PD if you change your address?  get the gun registration papers updated with the new addy?

When I applied for my CCW here, my address was 2 houses old. No questions were asked by the LEO that called me because my current address is on a new street. I asked if I needed to update registration and he said "not to my knowledge".

Personally, I'm all for doing anything (within the confines of the law, naturally) that introduces more errors into their registration database.  I'm looking forward to moving out of the state with all my guns, without bothering to inform anyone.
