That's some fucked up shit.  The guy who called 911 to report Crawford apparently lied or exaggerated the situation and cops ended up coming in guns blazing.

Does anyone else have a problem seeing so many videos where Cops approach an unknown situation and just shoot? 

No others are in immediate danger. The Cops PLACED THEMSELVES in potential danger by making themselves targets from the very start.  Then when they kill the other person, they claim they felt threatened.

Really?  Were you feeling threatened when you had an entire store aisle or cruiser between you and the suspect?  What act necessitated placing yourselves in the line of fire?

Police need to stop rushing in and shooting when there were plenty of safer options.  They can make contact without escalating to deadly force before they have taken some time to evaluate the situation.

The term trigger-happy gets used quite a bit, but in some of these instances, that might be close to the truth. 

This 12-yr-old kid in a park brandishing a toy gun was shot within seconds of Cops arriving on scene.  No attempt to find a safe position to assess anything!  Very similar to the Walmart shooting.
