My kanikapila friend is trying out for the part of Disney Princess Moana.
I have known and played with this family for about 5 years and I can tell you that she is the real deal.

Here is a little more background information:
I met them through my other music friend about 5 years ago. We were at White Plains beach and when my son heard her sing he said, "Dad! she sounds like Raiatea (Helm)!"
She was 11 years old then.
Her older brother is a 6, 12, and steel guitar prodigy.
Her younger brother was only six when he started playing in their family band.
Mom and Dad home schooled them.They are remarkable people too.
Last year I asked them to play at my son's graduation party and they just knocked the socks off of our family and friends.
