Snow last couple of days.  Mud, dirty car windows, slush, the usual crap after a snowstorm.

So I'm out and about getting groceries and I pull up at a traffic light and glance in my rear view mirror out my back window to see a big truck pull up behind me.  There a big "OAH-U" on the box over the cab.

"What the hell is a truck from Oahu doing all the way up here in Colorado?" I ask myself..

Blink, look in my mirror again

Oh, it's A "U-HAUL" truck with the L just out of vision of my dirty muddy window and the letters backwards in the mirror.  And I misread the "U."

Grinned and turned on the back windshield washer.

You guys have got me going, all right.

If you get cold then go sit in a corner somewhere. They are usually around ninety degrees.

Well, for most of my life I could bare my chest and my teeth to the howlingest wind-driven sleet, snow, and hail storms.

Nowadays, I just ride out the storms in my heat-paid-for senior apartment and consume my stored comestibles.  Then when it clears up, I go out and restock and get the mail at the post office.  That's what I was doing when I saw the OAH-U sign on the truck.  Selective perception, I guess.

It was pretty warm, 43 or something degrees.
