As you can graphically see, Hawaii is one of the exceptions, not the rule.  Lawmakers have nearly all of the United States to concur that having concealed carry will not cause 'blood to run in the streets' as they like to argue.

Florida CCW is easy to get as you don't need a specific CCW class.   You can use your military training, NRA Basic PIstol course, and lots of other types of training to be eligilble.  Non-residents can apply.  Easiest CCW permit to get and can be used in over 30 states.  The reciprocity list is almost the same as Utah except for a few states.

The thing I don't like about Florida CCW is people will get it cause it's easy even though they are not trained, and could be a danger to themselves and others.  I attended a Nevada CCW course yesterday and one guy could barely understand english and was wasn't obeying the range commands.  He also took out his unholstered gun from his shirt pocket really pissing off the range master.  An old asian woman didn't know how to operate the gun by putting it on safe and locking the slide back, I don't think she fired a gun before.  Half the group had a broadside of barn shot group on the silhouette at 12 feet.

By the way the American Shooters CCW course in Las Vegas was excellent, highly recommend it.  Was $100 for the Nevada and +$50 for Utah.

Duster what zippz said... in my nevada class one person failed the Qual shoot and was sent packing. Lol most of the others had a shotgun pattern.

I'll be getting Utah and Nevada permits soon.  I took the class 2 times before but never sent in the paperwork.  Didn't realize the class expires if you don't apply in a year.

I got my NV permit mailed to me only 17 days after submitting the paperwork at the Sheriff's Office in Pahrump.  I received the UT and AZ permits in about 30 days after mailing in the application.  I heard that Clark County takes 60 or more days to process the permit.  If I remember correctly, the application has to be submitted in the same county that you took the CCW class in.

nope your not the only one. I go there to buy fiyah crakas!! Lol as for Clark County ccw everyone says you get it on 119 days because the county deadline is 120 days to be issued. Bastiids!
