Last time I went gun show last october the 2 hpd gun registration  guys were there, I recognized them from the firearms division. They were in uniform at there own table. Do they register rifles there on site?  If not, it'd be a pretty good idea  don't u think?
If you stay ready, you don't have to get ready.

Well, it would make sense, so yeah probably not. The state, C&C, and HPD aren't really into making the system easier for us.

Lol suka will be on display at the Hawaii Defense Foundation section at the gun show. He volunteered I guess I might as well make him a special guest and let you all know to come by and say hello.

The flyer says "24-Hour H.P.D. Security".  They're our "insurance" against someone trying to do anything stupid.

Thank the police officers at the gun show providing the 24 hour security.  They are doing it as a volunteer service and do not get paid.

The show organizer pay for off duty officer, same as any private venue that serves alcohol

Well maybe not all of them volunteer.  Couple of my friends do it for free.  I don't think the gun show could charge such low rates to the vendors and public if they had to pay all the officers for special duty.

Are the gun shows out here pretty good? I have duty this Saturday but if it's worth it I might pass on sleeping in on Sunday and check it out!
I sure as hell don't need a permit to choose my religion, so why the hell do I need a permit to acquire a firearm?
