Magpul BEV Block/Wrench reviews?

Thinking about getting a set, anyone try them yet?

bev block works well. wish it had a slightly tighter fit. upper has a tiny bit of wiggle room even when i insert the stripped bolt carrier as instructed in the manual.

oh and my vice is slowly eating up the polymer, which is weird because my older dpms blocks are 100% cosmetically speaking.
i got it for about $40. not bad considering the geissele reaction rod is about $100 and a lower block is about $10-20. a bev block does both.

ive read that magpul may come out with replaceable polymer, that would be a big selling point.


wrench was too pricey for me and my current one from amazon works OK for the 15 bucks i spent on it. if i used my wrench more id upgrade. hardly use it though since a lot of barrel nuts can use a strap wrench and my new knipex slim head plier wrench can be subbed for a 1 9/16 crowsfoot
