Bow or my scar 17?
« on: March 23, 2015, 12:59:15 PM »
so I've heard some places out here in Oahu only allow bow hunting for hogs, is that true? I'd much rather use my scar 17 to hunt with but if most places only allow bows than I might as well get a bow. I just registered for the hunter safety class in May but I'd like to get the info sooner rather than later. Cause if I do need to get a bow my new handl lower for the scar will have to wait...
I sure as hell don't need a permit to choose my religion, so why the hell do I need a permit to acquire a firearm?

Nuuanu is bow only
A couple of the Hawaii kai spots are bow only too.
There's a lot of places you can use rifle though

Thanks for the replies guys, I guess I will look into getting a bow a little more because I raised a few hogs and I know the little shits are pretty smart and will go to places there's less hunting pressure, which would, I'd assume be places where only bows are permitted. And I know right around the Pali there's a lot of water and thick vegetation and that's hog heaven, if there are any hogs still out there.
