Sometimes, simplicity is elegance.  A couple of beers, a coupls of scotches.  In this case, Sam Adams Octoberfest and Johnny Walker Black.  I'm all out of Irish whiskey, a misfortune I aim to rectify.

At the HRA fun shoot this weekend, not one but two regulars made comments about my recent relative silence in this thread.

"Huh, am I not drunk enough?"  I wondered.  "Maybe I need a martini."

And, to the best of your knowledge, it took me two days to get around to bartendering! 

(And martinis are delicious!)

It's been a really good weekend.  Saturday, played with my boo all day, and she took me on a surprise date that night.  Today, I spent at the range teaching new shooters, then came home to a delicious dinner and ice-cold martinis waiting.  I've been rode hard and put away wet, but I am one very happy Tom! 

Now, maybe I can manage one Fettercairn Fior before bed...
