I don't understand how you can get 6 warrants for driving and still let the person bail out, and not serve any jail time. :wtf:

I think this title should have been:

Nearly  1   6 in 10 Americans have severe anger issues and access to   guns    automobiles

We should also limit how much gas vehicles can store.  You know those crazy "high capacity tanks" allow people to run more victims over without refilling.

I do hope she rots in prison because I blame the driver not the car.  I don't see why this concept is so difficult

Yeah
If she had been in jail where she belongs then that guy would still be alive.

I hope the judges and lawyers that let her loose sleep well tonight.

Now if you took away the car would she have killed? Oh wait, she wasn't supposed to drive. No license. Arrested 6 times. But she still got a vehicle and killed someone. How did she register it?

WOW, so some people don't abide by such laws and/or court rulings?  Say it aint so...

So would the person letting her "borrow" such vehicle be sued?  Or charged with something.  I would think, if I let someone borrow a firearm I knew that wasn't supposed to handle one.  Then they go and murder someone, I would think I would be charged with something and possibly sued by that persons family.

If you lend someone a car, you are responsible for any injuries or damages.  That's only financial liability.  You and your insurance pays, then you have to turn around and sue the driver to get paid back if they refuse.  Many people think if insurance pays, they shouldn't have to, but it goes on YOUR insurance record and can raise your rates a lot!

Criminally, unless the driver has a history of raging and causing physical injuries on purpose, you have no way to predict that behavior.  Knowingly giving your keys to a habitual drunk driver or road rage instigator could get you charged with willful negligence I would think.

That's one reason it's important to not let anyone register or insure their vehicle in your name.  So what if they can't afford the insurance in their own name!  That's a red flag that you don't want to let them use your good name for their bad driving.  If they run over a bunch of nuns in a crosswalk. and the car and insurance are in your name, you will be held financially responsible.  Look at your insurance contract.  Mine says it covers anyone driving my car with my permission.  So, use good judgement when loaning your car to anyone.

10 prior convictions, arrested LAST WEEK after being pulled over for speeding on 6 warrants for driving without a license or insurance.

Turns herself in, is booked for MURDER, then RELEASED  pending further investigation.  :wtf:
