Someone from District 29 needs to run against Rep Karl Rhoads (Read 5639 times)

Jl808

In the last few elections, F-rated anti-2a Karl Rhoads ran uncontested and got elected representative for District 29 (Kalihi, Palama, Iwilei, Chinatown).  He is trampling our 2a rights at the legislature as Judiciary chair with no fear for his "elected-by-default" rep position.

http://ballotpedia.org/Hawaii_House_of_Representatives_elections,_2014#District_29

I'm going to update the list of elected officials and highlight anti-2a candidates that run unopposed in their district elections.

We should prepare as much as we can for 2016.

Know anyone pro-2a who has a calling to run in the next election?  It might be good to encourage them to run.

Same goes for the Hawaii Kai neighborhood board (nudge nudge macsak, edster!)

What is also needed is to get gun owners Registered to VOTE (their guns).

All Hawaii gun owners Must be Dues paying members of HRA.

Present HRA membership numbers don't really get legislators attention.

HPD say 1,000,000 plus guns registered.

Want to guess how AFRAID of HRA legislature will be if HRA had 500,000 Paying members?

You want Texas style gun Freedom,  then push HRA paying membership to staggering numbers.

Gun owner Must put money where their mouths are.

Send in at least a $1 per gun or more to PAC.  I send in more.

Read what Bill Richter wrote in the HRA newsletter.

You're not a member?  Why not?  If you want help go elsewhere.

Don't waste HRA resources on helping a NON member.

Fair's Fair right?

I try not to interact with non members who want a Free ride.

HRA membership is representative of Hawaii voting at large. Sure we have a lot of firearms owners but like Hawaii voters it activism is a low priority.

Thanks for sharing. I'm new in Hawaii from New Mexico where the 2A is very much respected. Will surely be a registered voter before 2016.

Could not find the 411 on where Rhoads was born.   Maybe just trivia but good to know all the info of the opposition IMHO.
Anybody know where Karl was born?   Kali, NY, UK or from a jackal (jus kidding)?

His website states he wants to "bringt honesty back to government" yet has a habit of changing the wording of bills (HB888) in conference committees where no public input is allowed.

Wikipedia just has his birthdate unlike other Hawaii politicians list birth place.  His website shows that he's been all over the U.S. and finally ended up here.  It also shows that he has not held the same job for longer than 6 years and has had many jobs.
To me it shows that his goal is to be a career politician and climb the ladder so I don't think he will be in the Leg. too long.   Hope we can contain this bozo.  Of course I might be wrong since I'm a average joe blow and not an insider.
Notice in his website how he got so much labor support for not being here too long.   Think he had a backer whose last name starts with S and ends with Z and has the goofy gap toothed smile.
