There was a discussion about a case failure in an AR that resulted in a Kaboom.
The discussion then centered around the detection of a stretch ring that can be detected with a paper clip feel on the inside of the case. A visual inspection of the inside with clean brass was also noted.



Just wanted to show a pic of what the inside of a case will look like with dry media vs. wet, SS pin tumbled.
