The gun laws obviously work.

Look at that guy on the motorcycle who chased a woman into Waimanalo, got lickens from other guys, then pulled out a gun which he shouldn't have had in the first place, due to the fact that 2 years prior he committed a class b Felony.

It's obvious that we don't need to protect ourselves, as everyone (including criminals) follows the law, and HPD will always be there to save us.
