Personally im not into bullpups. Ive owned one and sold it. Not really a battle rifle. Barrett M99 in 50 bmg. But since looking at this thread i thought for sure my next purchase was going to be a scar 16. But ive been doing some thinking on the tavor. IDK we see what happens. Ill post the result on latest purchases if anything.

I thoroughly detest the FS2000.

It's so weird looking and feeling.

I actually bought one a long time ago and couldn't get anything but USGI mags to fit it. I sold it the exact same day that I bought it.

from a few years ago

from this range day, we now have GTGs
and without this range day, HDF range days would not be the same...

At the ssf I tried the steyr and a tavor. They both felt awkward and heavy to me.
Too unfamiliar, I guess.

really?  im the opposite.  shot both at the fair as well, and i thought that the Tavor felt impossibly light.  The Steyr felt heavier, but no heavier than any other normal layout rifle i've shot.

Was finally able to take the Tavor up to Clark County, the new trigger pack/trigger bow combo REALLY made a huge difference. Just wish I brought gloves, the front hand guard got pretty hot, the screws that secure it got EXTREMELY hot!!!   I'm sure the 112F didn't help, that and I'm a wuss  :geekdanc: LOL  Oh yeah, threw a Manticore butt-pad on the Tavor as well... Pretty nice piece of kit, think I'll keep it installed

The Tavor is a pretty heavy gun, 7.5 lbs out of the box but most of the weight is in the back.  Once it's shouldered I can hold it easily with my strong hand for hours.  Thanks for coming to the SSF!  I was the RSO with the red 49ers hat lol. 8)

It is equally useful in securing meat for the table, destroying group enemies on the battlefield, and resisting tyranny. In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny, since a citizenry armed with rifles simply cannot be tyrannized."
