No disrespect to all our 2A brother salesmen here but it seems most car dealership dictates their prices on their terms.E-mailed couple dealership but won't bulge on their prices.Any suggestions from some lucky ones who bought way below MSRP?. Is there a magic tricks?.Any input greatly appreciated. :shaka:

Don't bother emailing. When you do that, they know you're just shopping prices. Do all your homework (car values, rebates offered, etc) and go to the dealership. Test drive, go through the motions. When they see you are a buyer and they know they can lock in a sale, they're more interested in dealing with you. Don't try and be ridiculous with the price, but don't budge. Be willing to walk away. Know the math because they'll try to screw with you. Don't start talking "monthly payment" with you because they're just trying to get another variable in the equation to confuse you.

I just bought my son a car. MSRP was $19,000. Got the car for $13,845 (to be fair, it included some manufacturer rebates and incentives).

it seems like most toyotas go for roughly the same price. when i bought a toyota a few months ago i browsed online just because i was curious and almost everyone around the country was paying nearly the same price.
