It's old as hell, from last December.... still remember that one.
"The rifle is a weapon. Let there be no mistake about that. It is a tool of power, and thus dependent completely upon the moral stature of its user. It is equally useful in securing meat for the table, destroying group enemies on the battlefield, and resisting tyranny. In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny, since a citizenry armed with rifles simply cannot be tyrannized."

No. Laws like this unnecessarily punish lawful gun owners and will do little to prevent mass shootings.

Yes. Increased regulations on firearms are necessary to prevent another tragedy like the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary.
7.48%  (10,700 votes)

Unsure. It's important to keep the weapons out of the wrong hands, but this may not be the solution.

When I read the title "Poll: Would you support more restrictive gun laws in your state?", I wanted to answer "HELL NO" but there wasn't that option.
I think, therefore I am armed.

And, the reason it (the poll) was never used by PBS was because of the results....had it been in favor of more gun control laws it would have been drug out and put on parade for all to see....

i'd also imagine that their data failed under proper scrutiny (the article's data, not the poll's)
