OMAHA, NE (KETV/CNN) - Police in Nebraska are searching for a 12-year-old boy, the third suspect in a murder investigation.

Jarrell Milton was still on the loose, but two other suspects who aren't much older were arrested Monday.

Milton's brother, 17-year-old Jamar Milton, and 15-year-old Shuntayvious Primes-Willis were booked on
first-degree murder charges and had a scheduled court appearance Tuesday.

Is he paying or is this date Dutch?
No one is coming, it’s up to us.

Legislation should never be about depriving law abiding citizens of something, but rather taking those things away from criminals.

There's no such thing as a free lunch!  (or dinner!)

If he pays, he'll be expecting a little quid pro quo!

Unless I am missing something, what makes you think they won't blame guns?   What is so different about this case that they wouldn't try to blame guns? They would just use the same line that if the kids couldn't get access to a gun there would be no shooting...

Because none of the kids in the shooting:

are old enough to legally own guns and therefore
never submitted to a background check,
never took any safety courses that might have been required in conjunction with a gun purchase,
certainly didn't have a permit to buy,
no registration, and
no concealed carry permits.

Even if you toss out the fact that murder is a crime, look at all the laws they broke.

No new laws could have prevented what happened.  Criminals break laws, and they have no problem finding their way to guns.

The problem in THIS story is their gang affiliation.  I'd bet they got the guns from other gang members.  Since black-on-black crime and gang violence are all but ignored by the anti-gun supporters, they will turn a blind eye and focus on the church shooting.

Your number one Option for Personal Security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

Of course they will still blame guns. In fact they will just use this story to take it a step further and say

"look, we have gun laws and they didn't work, so we need ban guns altogether."

But yes, we absolutely should focus on the gang affiliation, that is the problem. The social problems we have with violence is what we should focus on, not the tools used.
