You can check Honolulu City emergency management department which has listings for different communities disaster preparedness committees.  If you mean more the prepper type, check out the American Preppers network Hawaii forum.
Probably if groups exist they're small and keep quiet.

best thing to do would be to go to GTGs and HDF shoots and meet the gang
and then bring it up in person

I live Makakilo. About 900 feet. My plan is to stay put.  :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I could take in a few 2A strays. Beer? Pizza? Swap Meat? We could practice shooting Mynah birds and Egrets. There is a cow pasture across the gulch so plenty free steaks. Gongho!!!  :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
