Hilarious.

I cringed a little at the notion of all that salty bacon contacting the barrel, though.  However, I suppose  Windex, water and wiping would clean it off.  Just like with black powder.  (I'm really fanatic about salt getting anywhere near guns or other tools.)

Good/bad for his campaign?  Who can guess?  I suspect many formerly low-information-voters are finally getting wise as to what's going on in this nation... so maybe it will be for the good.

"Good," as I see it anyhow.

I'm reminded of the techniques and recipes I've seen for "manifold meals," where you cook a meal by putting it on the exhaust system of your car and by the time you get to the shindig or picnic or whatever, it's done.

I do believe that the radical and crazy notion that the Founders meant what they said, is gradually soaking through the judicial system.

Cruz confronts Maddow’s slam with a bigger gun, a new video, and a sense of humor!

Quote
In response to the GOP presidential contender releasing an entertaining video of himself cooking bacon on the barrel of a gun,
dubbed “machine-gun bacon,” MSNBC host Rachel Maddow tried to spoil the fun by splitting hairs over whether the weapon
used was actually a machine-gun.

“Does he really not know what a machine gun is?” Maddow asked on her program Monday. “Does he think he was firing one
here? Does he want us to think he was firing one here?”

Maddow actually fact-checked the video, concluding that “Ted Cruz doesn’t know what he’s talking about when he’s talking about guns.”

Funny... it's the first thing my wife said after viewing the video: "Why did he call the AR a machine gun?"  :)
I think, therefore I am armed.

I can imagine someone on his PR staff naming the video that because "machine gun bacon" sounds way cooler than "semiautomatic sporting rifle bacon" or "AR-15 bacon."

Also, Rachel Maddow needs to STFU unless she wants to become a real journalist in stead of a democrat propagandist.
