Any recommendations on light and laser options (the light and laser can be independent of each other) that are inexpensive and require no permanent modification to a Glock 33 and still allows it to fit in a holster, thanks!

What is inexpensive to you, what is your budget?

Maybe 100 bucks?

Recommend you pick a couple of holsters you like, and see which brand and model laser-lights they can accommodate.  My experience has been, you might find a laser light combo you like, but nobody makes a holster you like that fits it.

You might wind up spending more for a custom holster than what you saved on a $100 laser-light.

I have a Veridian C5L that I like for the laser-light.  It was on sale and had an extra holiday discount.  Lots of holsters fit that combo without paying for a custom made version.

I also like the Streamlight series lights.  They seem to be the standard for many pistol/TAClight combos in ready to order holsters. And the price is around $100 without the laser.

Don't be too restrictive on the laser-light budget, and you may save the cash on the holster instead.

Why a laser? Have you ever used one? Many people find that they are more distracting than anything, myself included, even though I tried hard not to. They seem like more of a novelty than anything. Also, a $100 budget for light and laser will likely limit you quite a bit. Ditch the desire for a laser and you can get a solid light like a TLR or Inforce APL.

you said it once already? (kidding) I think you may have just answered your own question. It is a subcompact pistol with no rail provisions. Most light and laser combos are bulky it would defeat the purpose of the concealable subcompact if you were to try and hang both on the gun. There is good advice above about selecting a holster and why a light and a laser. How's about getting a decent flashlight for $100 bucks and learning to shoot holding the flashlight? I am not trying to be an ass but maybe you didn't get the right pistol for your needs especially when your already wanting to do a caliber conversion also.

There is much to be said about having a flashlight you can use without having to draw a weapon and sweep people with your muzzle just to light up the area.

 

I was looking for a 9mm conversion simply to save on the cost of ammo at the range, .357 dig will be loaded when not at the range. I found a universal glock rear sight that is a small laser which I will probably buy, I wanted a light, on the weapon, as if a thug breaks into my home in the early hours of the morning, I will only want to reach for the Glock and not worry about finding a FL too.

As I read your messages, I am thinking you would be better off selling the 33 and geting something like a  g19.  It's pretty small, uses 9mm and has a rail.
Strategically, it's a bad idea to practice with 9mm then switch to 357 sig for defensive use.
Trying to reload practice ammo for the 357 sig would be difficult because of that pesky bottleneck design.

I think the Glock 19 may be the most versatile pistol there is, at least as far as size is concerned.

My personal concerns with attaching a flashlight to a G33, at the 6 o'clock position, using the magazine floorplate:

How do you manipulate the flashlight's on/off switch, or do you intend to keep the flashlight on "constant On" mode?

And what happens if, God forbid, you need to do a mag change (reload, failure, etc.)?

Being attached at the 6 o'clock position, does the flashlight cast a shadow on a target that obscures the face or upper torso, or otherwise impacts your ability to positively identify a target?

too many tradeoffs in my opinion with the light attached to the mag
