86 opening on USAJOBS.GOV for JBPHH security. Entry job for the federal and move up from there.

Remember in the late 80's or early 90's base police were in involved in a shooting on a shipyard shuttle bus when a guy went beserk  on the bus and shot people ( 1 innocent worker killed and the deranged guy shot by base police).
They used to man gates but before I retired private contractor guards were manning gates.   Not sure what their role is now.   Anyway good federal job if you can get it.

The guys at the gates now are federal employees.  They went through a couple of contracts a few years ago, but I think they had some "quality control" issues with the contract guards.

Federal jobs like this is a stepping stone to harder to get federal jobs like federal prison, etc. Job not hard. Good benefits.
