This is why I'm happy I didn't end up selling my VEPR12; eliminates my need (but not want  :( ) to pick up an AK.

They say that mil contracts in Romania and other E. bloc countries are the cause, however I wonder if the U.N. Small Arms Treaty has anything to do with it.
If you have needs, better to stay in front of the herd.

I was leaning toward the c39 v2, but recently read about the cast parts used in many US made AKs.

Any import ban is bad news for the consumer. Like TastesLikeMetal said, options.

That being said, I think century is really working hard to get their s**t together and put out a top quality AK.
