Where's my tin foil hat...

Is it just me, or are these 'mass shootings' starting to pick up in frequency ever since the dem party decided to make gun control the main focal point of their campaign?

Coincidence.  There was the Blood Moon/Super Moon that brings out a few Super Lunatics.

Then there are all the disillusioned Democrats who thought Obama was going to give everyone (or at least the Democrats who voted for him)
    free Health Care,
free Solar Panels for free electricity,
a paid-off mortgage they shouldn't have ever taken out,
    a free cell phone,
an open invitation to have a beer with him in the Rose Garden,
    and so on.

There are the people totally paranoid ISIS is going to show up in their town and start killing anyone not in a Mosque during on of the regular prayer times.

And of course, there are the people taking psychotropic drugs who can't get refills thanks to the Affordable Care Act.

Wide variety of reasons that are directly the cause of the shootings, but that doesn't mean the government isn''t causing those things to happen!!

I have to admit this has been bothering me as well.

So I looked up some info on mass shootings. To say the least, the information is a bit confusing and disjointed. The FBI treats all shootings of 4 or more in a single incident as a mass shooting, regardless of the motivation. This allows incidents like gang related shootings, domestic violence, robberies, among others to be lumped into the statistics.
This seems wrong to me, as I think most of us identify a "mass shooting" as something more along the lines of Columbine or Sandy Hook. To be more specific, a shooting where the body count is the most important concern of the shooter, rather than an unintended consequence.

To this end I looked at only the "deadliest" incidents on record since 1984 and broke them into 8 year periods. No distinction is made between school, workplace or public place, although virtually all were "gun free" zones. I'm simply listing the raw number of shootings of this type during the 8 year periods between then and now.

1984-1992 = 7

1993-2000 = 8

2001-2008 = 9

2009-2015 = 19

You'll notice that the "Obama" years have been the deadliest period to date, with the number of shootings of this type more than doubling in less than an 8 year period. Further, the period of time when the "assault weapons" ban was in effect yielded a net effect of zero on mass shootings.

Does this mean or prove there is a conspiracy afoot? No. But I'm not a big believer in coincidence either. You'll have to draw your own conclusions.

Wasn't it Rahm Emmanuel who said "never let a serious crisis go to waste" and didn't Hillary also say " never let  good crisis go to waste".   Then there's Nancy Pelosi who said "it's not a crisis, it's an opportunity".
What do these people have in common other than trying to subvert the constitution?    Connecting the dots is not hard in this case.    So who benefits from these incidents?

The Progressive Liberal Agenda benefits from these incidents .  Gun control - magazine capacity limits, background checks, assault weapons band, higher taxes on ammo etc.

I wonder how many of these school shooters are doing the "life of David Gale" thing because they believe in the  liberal lies.

Nope, this is just what the media covers.  If you really want to see mass shootings take a look at how many people get shot in Chicago on a weekly basis.  It's pretty eye opening.
