22LR @ 50yrd challenge at Prime Sports

We wanted to put on a 22LR 50 yrd challenge for this Christmas. Challenge will run from 12/1/2015 to 12/31.2015. Entry is free and the top 3 scores will receive something special ;D. The rules are :
  • 22LR only
  • distance will be at 50yrds
  • there are two classes semi and bolt
  • if you break the circle center that is 2points and 1 point if you break the black line.
  • must have a witness sign  target

Come in for a target and best of luck.

That's a good idea I think the next one I will do that but for this one open sight or optic are allowed.

I'm in on this one. I have to re-sight my gun in for 50yds.  :thumbsup:

Can I pick up 2 targets and submit one semi and one bolt? I know my semi is up for the challenge but I am not sure my bolt is. (Expecting numerous comments...)  :rofl:

Tell me about it. Sheesh!!!! I made copies of the target so I could practice a little before I shot for record. Let me tell you how much just a little breeze and a big cup of coffee can affect the results!  :shake:

I was going to try shooting targets with my pistol with a red dot. Problem was the same as you. I had such a hard time seeing the circles. And when my eyes were able to focus enough to try and aim the darn red dot was WAY too big and covered more than just one circle!  :rofl:

Still a couple of weeks left to do the challenge.  Good luck to all shooting the challenge.  The high score so far is 18 points.

Question.  If you do one on these with the same target for center fire, could you make it best horizontal row of five, out of all the rows?  Maybe best row, and second best to break ties?  Don't really want to shoot all of 20 rounds of .308, plus sighters.  I'll probably have to shoot them all, but if I do good on say one of the rows, I'd like to save ammo.
