Who is NOT a Member of the NRA?

I would like to ask everyone who is NOT a member (and has never been a member) of the NRA as to WHY they are not a member? Here are a few questions I would appreciate answers to:

1. Why are you not a member of the NRA?

2. Do you want to be a member of the NRA? Tell me why. If not, please explain.

3. If someone offered you a gift of a free one year membership would you continue renewing every year? Or would you just let it drop after it expires?

This question is not for those who have been members and no longer want to be. Thanks!

I am not asking to impose an opinion nor am I asking to start a fight or long drawn out discussions. I am just curious as to why someone who is involved in the gun and online community is not a member.  :shaka:

I am hesitant in party because I am frugal but also because I am not sure I agree with all of their positions. It is something I need to research more.

Nobody cares if you agree 100% with any group's "positions."  This is not an election.

Either you support gun rights and the ONLY well-established and effective groups in Hawaii that fight to keep those rights, or you don't.

I don't think you are capable of ever doing enough research to answer your own question.  That's just a cop-out, because you don't support the second amendment any further than it affects you personally.

No apologies necessary. I do a lot of forum reading while I am at work in my office. I have a mostly outside job so I only get a short period of time to read through the posts. So things like "not not" become a blurred "not" to me.  :thumbsup:

Thank you for being honest. Is there any person, group or organization that you agree with all of their positions? There is nothing like that in my life. If you sincerely believe in the second amendment you need to become a member of the NRA, HRA and HDF.

Annual member but on easy pay for Life also.   Nationally NRA is the only game in town with clout to fight gun grabbers and most state's orgs are NRA affiliates.
2016 is a dangerous year for the 2nd, and you need to join now.   Also this year support the HRA because guarans,  HI politicians will come out with some bad bills in 2016.
Numbers count.   Should not even be a question for this forums members.

Can I respectfully ask what positions in each of these groups you do not agree with? 

I certainly don't agree with all positions,  but I believe in the bigger picture they will do more to support my freedoms than hinder.  Just as in a political realm, I do not support all GOP positions, but in the bog picture they stand a better chance of winning and a better chance for change in a direction I support. 

One will never be completely in agreement with another person 100% all the time.  It's an impossibly.

The only way you can get 100% agreement is if you are looking at a sample size of 1 and that person is you.

And some people might not even get that.
